Hello everyone

I guess the first blog post is always pretty hard, I don’t how I want to start this.
Well, I’m sure you want to know more about myself. (Oh yes you do!)

Childhood

So, I was born on November 26, 1989 in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland. I had a pretty good childhood, my sister and myself had the chance to travel a lot with our family. I guess that’s why I’m addicted to planes and airports right now. I lived for about 15 years in a neighborhood called « Pierre-de-Savoie » in Yverdon-les-Bains, that’s where I met almost all of my best friends that I still see every week. We used to be hated by all of our neighbors at this time, we were the loudest assholes boys around; always playing, burning things, doing stunts. Oh god, good times.

Music

Between all of this, with 2 of my best friends, I also started a band, called « The Perception ». We spent almost all our Saturday practicing and it went pretty well. A few years later (2010), another friend joined us at the guitar and we’re now called « Citizen ». Music has always been a part of my life, I’ve been playing the bass for the last 6 years and my headphones are always close to me.

Education

I spent 5 years at the CPNV (Centre Professionnel du Nord Vaudois), where I really found my passion for the Internet. I learned to build websites, make videos and work on all kind of media related things. It’s a generalist formation, so we’re capable to do a lot of things, but not really as good as the specialists. That’s why I decided to work just after I « graduated ». Since September 2010, I’m working at ESL, as an SEO (Search Engine Optimiser). Even if it’s really interesting, I know that it’s not my favorite field, that’s why I work almost every night on personal projects (web, photography, video).

Future

I’m not sure where I want to be in 10 years. I’m currently thinking about what I really want to do and maybe it’ll just come by itself, but I’d love to find a job abroad or to work while traveling, as a freelancer. I’m also working on my portfolio, I hope it’ll be online soon, but I guess you’ll find out more about it in the next blog posts.

Thanks for coming everyone!
